📏 How to Order Your Custom Plexiglass AC Panel
Please follow these steps carefully to ensure an accurate fit.
1️⃣ Measure the Surface Your Panel Will Sit On
Your custom AC panel is designed to mount onto the frame surface around your window opening.
Important:
Measure the full outer dimensions where the panel will rest.
Do not measure the inside opening only
Your final dimensions should represent the actual overall size of the plexiglass panel.
2️⃣ Account for Window Hardware
If your window includes:
Handles
Cranks
Locks
Latches
Any protruding hardware
You will need to include notches or cut-outs so the panel can sit flat against the frame.
These notches are CNC-cut into your custom panel during fabrication.
✔️ Recommended Clearance
We recommend a minimum of 1/4" clearance around hardware cut-outs for proper fitment.

3️⃣ Select Your Correct Size Range
Choose the pricing range based on the smaller dimension of your panel.
Example:
If your panel measures 19” W × 49” H, your smaller dimension is 19”, so you would select “18”–23” from the drop down menu.
Selecting the wrong size category may delay production.
4️⃣ Design Your AC Panel & Place Your Order
👉 Use our AC Panel designer to:
Include the exact height and width of your custom panel
Position your exhaust hole
Add any required notches for handles or hardware
After using our AC panel designer, place your order online and email your panel design to design@klolab.com and include a photo of your AC hose adapter so we can match the exhaust hole precisely.
If you prefer, you can also send a hand-drawn diagram and a photo of your adapter.
We’ll use this information to create your final design proof. These are the exact dimensions used for fabrication.

Production only begins once your proof has been approved.
This helps ensure all dimensions, cut-outs, and vent placement are correct before fabrication.

We use premium 3/16" thick acrylic for all of our AC window panels. Many of our competitors cut costs by using thinner 1/8" material, which can bow, flex, or rattle when your heavy AC exhaust hose kicks on. Our 3/16" material provides a rigid, architectural-grade fit that won't warp over time and helps better insulate your room.
